Tracy Cruz

Tracy Cruz was Born in Quezon City on the island of Luzon in the Phillipines and raised in the Bay Area. She is a multi-award winning, full-time musical artist, songwriter and vocal coach. Rooted in the industry for 17+ years she has journeyed through sold out concerts, tours and openings for renowned artists such as Kenny Lattimore, Pete Escovedo, Miki Howard, Keke Wyatt, Sy Smith, Moonchild, Raheem Devaughn, Wes Felton, Sy Smith, Dee Dee Simon, Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, Barrington “Bo” Henderson of The Temptations, Christopher Williams, and more! She has also graced the stage, performing at prestigious venues and events such as Yoshi’s, Harlow’s, Tempe Center for the Arts, Roger Smith’s (of Tower of Power) Bump City Winery, San Jose Jazz Festival, San Jose Center for the Performing Artists, San Francisco Giants Filipino Heritage Night, California Maritime Academy, Rockwood Music Hall, Undiscovered SF, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

As the Chapter Governor (San Francisco Chapter) and voting member of the Recording Academy® and GrammyU mentor, Tracy Cruz is heavily involved with her music community through mentorship, advocacy, promoting diversity and inclusion, saving music in schools and more.

Tracy began teaching vocal lessons to inspire singers to openly share and pursue their passion for music. Her #1 goal is to guide all of her students in becoming stronger, more confident and happier singers. Her unique teaching method allow students to be creatively free, build confidence, strengthen their tone quality, expand their range, learn proper breathing and vocal warm ups and techniques, obtain a unique style, and achieve great stage presence while maintaining proper vocal health.

Tracy has been featured for her vocal coaching on KTVU Channel 2 News. She has taught Stanford University’s acapella group “O-Tone” and worship leaders at South Bay Church (now known as Echo church). She has also taught for the Children's Musical Theatre of San Jose Conservatory of Performing Arts, Darrell Leffler's Academy of Music, T.E.M.P.O. (Teens Engaging in Music Performance Opportunities), Evergreen Studio of Music and the Arts, and PNC Music Company. Her students have successfully competed and won city, state, and global singing competitions like South Bay Teen Idol, SJ's Got Talent, Greater Bay Area Talent Competition, The Western Regional California State Talent and Performing Arts Competition, KBLX 102.9 FM Rising Star Talent Competition, Bright Lights, Big Dreams Bay Area Youth Talent Search, Alameda County Fair Community Talent Competition, and The Voice of China.

Tracy is strongly motivated in helping her students reach a higher level of creativity and achieve their goals and dreams.
