A heavy hitter who runs the gambit from authentic jazz guitar to contemporary songwriting and blistering pyrotechnics.

Jimmy Z started his musical journey at six years of age, taking lessons and playing a wide variety of music with his father, a jazz musician who performed throughout his life. He also studied guitar with jazz genius Warren Nunes. Jimmy writes, plays, and performs songs in all genres. National song releases include "The Boys and the Girls are Doing It," from the movie sound track for Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, recorded as part of his contract with A&M Records. Additionally, Jimmy’s jazz fusion group, Faldo's Toy, has released two records with sales and performances around the globe. His publishing company, ProTunes, provides musical content for over 70 shows on television, including The Voice, MotorTrend, Teen Mom, Pawn Stars, NY Ink, and Made. A recent country music song and video that Jimmy co-wrote and co-produced is Moonshine, performed by Briana Tyson.
